Job Summary
QLM is currently hiring Journeyman, Foreman, and Superintendent electricians with industrial construction experience for a PER DIEM role in Port Arthur, TX outside of Houston.

Pay Range
$27-42 per hour
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience working on industrial construction projects
- Must have active Journeyman Electrician License from Texas or other state
- Must have an active TWIC card
- Must be able to pass a DISA background check and a drug test
- Must be available to work 10-hour days, 6-days/week on 1st shift (7am-5pm)
- Must have reliable transportation and ready to work in Port Arthur
- Must have all tools required for the job
- Good attitude and work well with others
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Must be able to bend rigid pipe, do terminations and seal-offs.
- Install electrical systems for a new industrial facility, including wiring, conduits, fixtures, and control systems from the ground up.
- Work closely with construction managers and other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
- Interpret construction blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure proper electrical layout and installation.
- Perform conduit bending, cable tray installation, and wire pulling for industrial electrical systems.
- Install and commission transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, and other power distribution equipment.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and company safety standards during installation.
- Test electrical systems for functionality and safety before equipment startup, using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and megohmmeters.
- Assist in the planning and execution of electrical phases, providing input on equipment placement and electrical routing.
- Coordinate with project managers to troubleshoot and resolve any construction-phase electrical issues.
- Prepare systems for inspection by city, state, or federal authorities.
Benefits:
- PER DIEM: $70/day for Journeyman and $95/day Foreman and Superintendents. Per diem applies to 7 days, ONLY if worked 6 days of that week.
