Job Summary
The Metal Fabricator I will assemble structural metal products, such as machinery frameworks, shells, and metal parts for doors and windows, based on job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints. They will perform their duties with a focus on safety and support the company’s mission, vision, and values.

Pay Range
$18-$20 per hr
Major Responsibilities of Metal Fabricator I:
- Develops layout and plans sequence of operations.
- Marks bending and cutting lines on workpieces.
- Sets up and operates fabricating machines.
- Designs and constructs templates and fixtures.
- Verifies conformance of workpieces to specifications.
- May fabricate and assemble sheet metal products.
- May set up and operate machine tools.
- Positions and secures parts and assemblies.
- Cuts workpieces using various tools.
- Removes rough spots from workpieces.
- Develops templates and work aids.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- 1-3 years related experience or equivalent education
- Proficient welding skills and ability to pass a weld test
- Initiative and strong follow-through
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks
Additional Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 60 lbs (occasionally 100 lbs)
- Ability to perform repetitive movements
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
