Job Summary
QLM is currently hiring millwrights for an industrial construction projects in the southeast, including SC, NC and Georgia. Millwright/Mechanical experience required, with a focus on safe work practices, dependability, and a commitment to complete the project(s).

Pay Range
$21-$29 per hour
You will be responsible for dismantling machinery, transferring equipment, interpreting blueprints/schematics, and installing equipment. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of hydraulics, belt systems, motors, and other industrial machine mechanisms essential for job procedures. Must be a team player with strong attention to detail. In this position, you should also be able to troubleshoot, and perform repairs and be a problem solver.
Responsibilities include:
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or transportation.
- Build the foundation for machines.
- Construct and install large industrial machinery and equipment.
- Review and interpret schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.
- Transfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards.
- Work with a range of hand tools including measuring tools, welding and brazing equipment.
- Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.
Millwrights often work in the field doing comprehensive industrial and mechanical projects.
QLM-Greenville is searching for qualified millwrights who have proven experience with industrial and construction equipment installation, demolition, troubleshooting and repair.
Millwright skills include, but are not limited to:
- Installation, demo and moving industrial machinery and equipment
- Maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment
- Use of hand and power tools
- Interpreting blueprints and schematic drawings
- Ability to follow all safety guidelines while producing top-notch work product
- Ability to work with others in a team environment while also being able to work on tasks independently.
