Job Summary
Skilled and safety-conscious Motor Grader Operator with experience in operating motor graders to create smooth, level surfaces for road construction, maintenance, and site development projects. Responsible for grading to precise specifications, cutting slopes, shaping shoulders, and finishing work on roads, parking lots, and other surfaces. Works under minimal supervision and collaborates with the site crew to ensure accurate and efficient grading operations.

Pay Range
$30-$40 per hour
Operate motor grader to spread, level, and smooth materials such as dirt, gravel, and asphalt.
Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes to achieve correct elevations and slopes.
Perform fine grading for roadways, building pads, drainage ditches, and shoulders.
Conduct routine machine inspections and perform basic maintenance or report mechanical issues.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, and ground crews to complete tasks efficiently.
Proven experience operating motor graders in construction or roadwork.
Strong understanding of grading techniques and slope control.
Familiarity with GPS or laser-guided grading systems (preferred).
Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work independently and in team settings in varying weather and site conditions.
