Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team for an exciting project at the NASA Rocket Lab in Assawoman, Virginia. The Pipefitter will work with both the fabricating and installation teams to assemble and install pipe spools for a launch pad. This position involves working with schedule 10 stainless pipe and requires a commitment to running 5 10-hour shifts per week. Preferably 6 days per week.

Pay Range
$30-$36 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the fabricating team to assemble pipe spools.
- Work with the installation team to install pipe spools on the launch pad.
- Ensure all work is performed according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Handle schedule 10 stainless pipe with precision and care.
- Maintain a consistent work schedule of 5 10-hour shifts per week.
- Adapt to project changes and extensions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter, preferably with experience in aerospace or similar projects.
- Proficiency in working with schedule 10 stainless pipe.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and adapt to project timelines.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage.
- $140 a day if more than 60 miles from jobsite.
- Potential for project extension beyond the initial 6 months.
- Mileage and gas reimbursement for commuting.
