Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Stainless Steel Pipe Welder with a minimum of 4 years of experience in welding stainless steel piping systems. Candidates must be able to pass a 2-inch Schedule 10 Stainless Steel Weld Test prior to placement. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality

Pay Range
$26-$32 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel piping systems, primarily Schedule 10 pipe.
- Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding procedures.
- Prepare and align pipe sections using clamps, jigs, and fixtures.
- Conduct welds that meet industry standards and project specifications.
- Inspect welds visually and with testing equipment to ensure quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with pipefitters and other trades to ensure proper fit-up and installation.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience welding stainless steel pipe.
- Must be able to pass a 2-inch Schedule 10 Stainless Steel Weld Test (TIG).
- Proficient in TIG welding techniques and stainless steel metallurgy.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Familiarity with orbital welding is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
- Welding certifications (ASME, AWS, etc.) are a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions and environments.
