Job Summary
QLM-Greenville is currently searching for a PIPE WELDER with 2 or more years of experience. In this position, it will be your responsibility to repair and create piping systems. The primary way in which you’ll do this is by welding together different types of pipes. As a pipe welder, for this position, you should be comfortable using a wide variety of welding tools and techniques. You should be familiar with the best practices for welding different types of materials. You must to be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics in order to do this job efficiently. Also, to complete the requirements for the pipe welding position, you should be able to successfully complete the weld test required.

Pay Range
$29 – $30 per hr

Pipe Welder Responsibilities:
- Use your specialized knowledge to create new piping systems and repair existing ones
- Interpret blueprints and schematics
- Maintain the tools that you use to weld
- Examine welds after you make them to ensure they meet our standards for excellence
- Use a variety of welding tools, materials, and methods
- Observe all relevant safety regulation while you work (extremely important)
You Must Pass This Weld Test:
Run two monster coupons, one with tig root and stick out; and the other is tig all the way out.
- Have 2+ yrs. Pipe Welding experience in a non-production setting
- Be able to pass weld test
- Have verifiable references (2-3 ref. with former supervisor/foreman)
- Have reliable transportation
- Able to work 50+ hours per week.
- Able to pass drug screen and background check
- Possess a strong work ethic
