Pay Range
$26-$32 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret piping schematics, blueprints, and isometric drawings.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend stainless steel pipes using hand and power tools.
- Fit and install stainless steel piping systems including valves, supports, and hangers.
- Perform layout and fabrication of piping systems to precise specifications.
- Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrity.
- Collaborate with welders and other trades to ensure seamless installation.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to OSHA and site-specific safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a pipefitter working with stainless steel.
- Must be able to pass a Fitter Test demonstrating layout, measurement, and fitting skills.
- Strong understanding of pipefitting techniques and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with TIG welding or orbital welding is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
- NCCER or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions and environments.
