Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter with a strong background in processing piping systems for the food and beverage industry. This shop-based role involves fitting and assembling sanitary stainless steel piping systems to precise specifications, ensuring compliance with hygienic and industry standards.

Pay Range
$30-$35 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings for food-grade piping systems.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend stainless steel pipe to required specifications.
- Fit and assemble sanitary piping systems in accordance with ASME BPE and hygienic standards.
- Ensure proper alignment and fit-up for welding or mechanical joining.
- Collaborate with welders and shop supervisors to ensure accurate fabrication and timely completion.
- Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, cleanliness, and compliance with food-grade standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of pipe fitting experience, with at least 1 year in food and beverage or processing piping.
- Strong knowledge of sanitary piping systems and hygienic fabrication practices.
- Ability to work with stainless steel and other food-grade materials.
- Familiarity with ASME BPE standards and clean-in-place (CIP) system requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a fabrication shop environment.
- Basic welding knowledge to assist with layout and fit-up.
- Forklift or overhead crane operation experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
