As a sheet metal duct installer, you will work independently and as part of a team to ensure all work meets the highest standards of safety and quality. The job is 4 ten-hour days. Pay Range
$22-26 per hour
- Proven experience as a pipefitter/welder.
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in pipefitting.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
- Reliable transportation.
- Certified 6G.
- Assemble and install piping systems according to blueprints and specifications.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles using hand and power tools.
- Secure pipes to structures with clamps, brackets, and hangers.
- Inspect and test installed systems to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Repair and maintain existing piping systems.
- Select and set up welding equipment, including shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, and gas tungsten arc welding.
- Perform welding operations in various positions (horizontal, vertical, overhead).
- Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet specified standards and tolerances.
- Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes, and increase the size of metal parts.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently.
