Job Summary
Position Summary The Project Director leads and oversees restoration projects from initial scope through completion, ensuring quality execution, strong customer relationships, and financial performance. This role operates with a high level of independence and serves as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.

Pay Range
$80-$100K per Year
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Manage projects through all phases, including scope, scheduling, execution, and closeout
- Ensure clear communication with customers and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure work is completed to quality and safety standards
- Manage change orders, punch lists, and final project completion documentation
Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage project budgets to meet profitability targets
- Establish payment terms and oversee billing and collections
- Monitor project costs, margins, and financial performance
Customer Experience
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Resolve issues, conflicts, and warranty concerns promptly and professionally
- Ensure customer satisfaction through project completion
Leadership (Senior & Executive levels)
- Mentor and support Project Managers and Estimators
- Provide performance feedback and support professional development
- Promote accountability and continuous improvement across teams
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years of restoration experience
- 3+ years as an Estimator or Project Manager in a disaster restoration environment
- Experience in water mitigation, fire restoration, and mold remediation
Preferred Experience (Advanced Roles)
- Senior Project Director: 2+ years in a Project Director role with strong performance
- Executive Project Director: 3+ years in a Senior Project Director role with strong performance
Certifications
- IICRC Certification (applicable levels)
- Xactimate proficiency:
- Project Director: Level 1
- Senior Project Director: Level 2
- Executive Project Director: Level 3
