Quality Labor Management is currently seeking a motivated and dependable Quality Control – Final Inspector for a Tex Tube Facility in Atchinson, Kansas. The Final Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming material (coils) and finished product (pipe) that is built into loads. Inspection reports are completed on incoming and finished material which denotes acceptance or rejection. Inspections are per applicable standard / order specifications.

Pay Range
$16.50-$23 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Prepare samples for testing, including collecting samples from steel coil, pipe, and tubing products, and machining samples to the correct dimensions.
- Inventory coils received by truck and rail cars.
- Perform inspections of finished pipe and tubing products, including monitoring products during the production process.
- Operate and be familiar with nondestructive testing equipment, including ultrasonic equipment, magnetic particle equipment, dye penetrant, and visual inspection tools.
- Safely operate acetylene torches, plasma arc torches, hand grinders, forklifts, overhead cranes, vertical milling machines, and other related shop equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in quality control or a related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of nondestructive testing methods and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspections and documentation.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and document management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
