Job Summary
As the Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our construction projects. You will develop, implement, and oversee safety programs to foster a culture of safety and minimize workplace hazards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on job sites. Provide training and support to employees on safety practices and procedures. Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety is integrated into project planning and execution. Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to construction safety.

Pay Range
$35 per hour
Key Responsibilities:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or equivalent.
Experience with large commercial construction projects.
Critical equipment: scaffold systems, cranes, boom lifts and scissor lifts.
Needs to be familiar with safety procedures for these. Also rigging knowledge is a plus.
OSHA 30 minimum and be able to communicate with staff and general contractor.
Duties include safety meetings and walks with the GC, doing hazard analysis for critical activities, some paperwork, but mostly monitoring the jobsite
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
