This position is direct hire, and the work is in the Jacksonville, Orlando, and Palm Coast areas. The position is full-time, and salary is negotiable depending on experience. The duties include managing the administrative activities of a project to ensure the fulfillment of contractual requirements while meeting the company’s safety, budget, and schedule goals. This role will provide timely feedback or corrective action to ensure that each team member contributes to the success of the project and company. Water treatment plant experience is required. Pay Range

$75K per year

o Ten (10) years of experience successfully supervising employees and subcontractors on a construction site.

o Good communication and teamwork abilities are a must.

o The ability to operate a computer and essential computer accessories are a must.

o The ability to go to jobsites is essential.

o Must be able to travel to different jobsites, meetings, training, etc.

o Enforce the site-specific safety plan, compliance with PC safety policies, OSHA and other safety regulations, ensuring all onsite activities are carried out in strict accordance with all safety policies and regulations.

o Correct any safety violations immediately, ensure OSHA inspections are conducted properly and in accordance with company policies.

o Coordinate equipment use with subcontractors and PC crews.

o Ensure equipment is maintained and review weekly equipment timesheets before entry.

o Create and execute the equipment usage plan for the project. Collaborate with superintendents and project managers on other projects to share or transfer equipment, materials and supplies.

o Mentor and coach direct reports, including conducting annual performance reviews with administrative direct reports. Set developmental goals and monitor progress with direct reports.

o Resolve disputes between coworkers when they impact performance.

o Collaborate with other Superintendents and Project Managers to share or transfer employees between projects.

o Sequence the schedule of activities and identify people and equipment resources to create the project schedule.

o Identify and mitigate threats to the project’s schedule goals. Assess and report actual progress of scheduled activities and ensure subcontractors meet schedule goals.

o Communicate schedule updates, manage project milestones and ensure the project schedule is met.

· Site

o Create a site logistics plan, including working hours, protection of existing facilities, temporary facilities, material delivery, material storage, vehicle access, clean-up and maintenance, stormwater pollution prevention, dust and noise control, and parking.

o Coordinate construction activities, shutdowns, testing, and inspections with the architect or engineer.

o Coordinate subcontractors’ work on site; plan and conduct subcontractor coordination meetings.

o Ensure all required compliance documentation from Subcontractors or Vendors, such as a signed subcontract, safety agreement, bonds, insurance certificates, lien waivers, etc., is on file prior to the start of field activities.

o Document any units needed to process a T&M ticket, unit price work, or potential contract change.

o Review the project’s contract, design drawings and specifications; assess and report field conditions that may lead to a change in the scope of any of the project’s owner’s contract.

o Understand and manage project budget.

o Assign costs to the correct job-cost structure and track units completed.

o Review unpaid subcontractor and vendor invoices to ensure proper payment; cost-code subcontractor and vendor invoices.

o Participate in project turnover meetings and implement the project start-up plan.

o Create and implement a project close-out plan

o Inspect work for compliance with plans and specifications, RFIs, approved submittals, as well as building codes, permits, local ordinances, and other regulatory requirements.

o Manage punch-list completion.
