Job Summary
WE ARE LOOKING FOR LOW VOLTAGE ELECTRICIANS TO START IMMEDIATELY on TYNDALL AFB! • Low Voltage • CAT5 & CAT6 Fiber will be primary Will be pulling cable. • Will need own tools • Able to get on base. • Previous Tyndall/Pass work would be excellent since Monday is start date. • Regular electrical work if not exact specs are available.

Pay Range
$28.00 per hour
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, such as security systems, fire alarms, and network wiring
- Test and troubleshoot low voltage systems to identify and resolve any issues
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients
- SKILLS NEEDED:
- Understanding of Wiring and Electronic Systems:
- A solid foundation in electrical concepts, including wiring, circuits, and components, is crucial.
- Blueprint and Schematic Reading:
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and other technical diagrams is essential for planning and executing installations.
- Proficiency with Hand and Power Tools:
- You’ll need to be comfortable using a variety of hand tools (like strippers, crimpers, and screwdrivers) and power tools (like drills and saws).
- Knowledge of Electrical Codes and Safety Guidelines:
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and safety regulations is paramount for ensuring safe and compliant installations.
- Troubleshooting and Repair Skills:
- The ability to diagnose and resolve issues in low-voltage systems is a key skill.
- Experience with Electrical Testing Equipment:
- Familiarity with tools like multimeters and other testing equipment is necessary for verifying installations and identifying problems.
- Knowledge of specific low-voltage systems:
- Familiarity with systems like fire alarm, security/CCTV, data networking, and access control systems is often required.
- Physical Fitness:
- Performing installations and repairs can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift, climb, and work in various conditions.
