Job Title: Senior Project Manager/Estimator – Electrical
Location: Charlotte, NC
Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager/Estimator for Industrial Electrical projects in Charlotte, NC. This role involves overseeing large-scale electrical projects from planning through execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will lead a team, manage resources, and coordinate with clients and vendors to achieve successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Development: Lead projects from concept to completion, developing detailed plans and managing risks.
- Budget & Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, monitor costs, and handle contracts and invoicing.
- Project Execution & Coordination: Direct daily operations and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Client Management: Serve as the primary contact for clients, managing updates and addressing concerns.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Motivate and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Quality & Safety Management: Ensure installations meet quality standards and conduct site inspections.
- Estimating: Review project plans and prepare bid proposals, including take-offs and vendor coordination.
- Business Development: Collaborate with the team to identify new business opportunities and assist in proposal preparation.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Certifications: PMP preferred; relevant electrical certifications/licenses are a plus.
- Experience: 7-10 years of project management experience in the industrial electrical sector with a proven track record of success.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and safety standards.
Physical Demands
- Ability to work on-site in industrial settings, including standing, walking, and climbing ladders.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
- Primarily office-based with frequent site visits and flexibility to work outside normal hours as required.
