Job Summary
Quality Labor Management has an immediate need for commercial painters for a job on the Panama City Navy Base. Responsible for painting the interiors and exteriors of commercial buildings, often on a larger scale than residential painting. This includes preparing surfaces, applying paint and other finishes, and ensuring a quality, aesthetic finish. They may also be involved in power washing, sandblasting, and working on scaffolding.

Pay Range
$25.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation: This includes cleaning, patching, sanding, and priming surfaces to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Painting: Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, or other specialized tools.
- Color Mixing: Accurately mixing and matching paint colors to meet specifications.
- Detail Work: Applying intricate details, trim work, and other decorative finishes.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining painting tools and equipment in good working order.
Skills Required:
- Painting Techniques: Proficiency in various painting techniques, including brushing, rolling, and spraying.
- Surface Preparation: Knowledge of how to properly prepare surfaces for painting.
- Color Matching: Ability to accurately match colors and create custom mixes.
- Safety Practices: Understanding and adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
- Tool Maintenance: Proper use and maintenance of painting tools and equipment.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other painters and tradespeople.
