Pay Range
$30-$35 per hour
Qualifications
- We need a strong leader
- Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools of the electrical trade
- Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work
- Ability to supervise the work of skilled workers
- Considerable knowledge of the National Electrical Code for electrical installations
- Ability to interpret and work from instructions, penciled plans and sketches, and blue prints
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with superiors and subordinates
Responsibilities
- The Electrical Foreman is responsible for providing on-site direction and leadership for workers in order to complete jobs within specific guidelines that include quality standards, time requirements, and budget considerations
- Ability to estimate materials and labor costs
- Skill in the use and care of all hand and shop tools and equipment of the electrician’s trade
- Other job duties include managing a team, evaluating employees’ progress, training new team members, attending meetings, identifying conflicts, and resolving problems are all personnel responsibilities that an electrical foreman may have
- Other work responsibilities often include organizing and planning a construction project, directing work, inspecting installations for quality, making sure code standards are met, and ensuring job safety
