Job Summary
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Rough Carpenter to assist with construction, repair, and structural maintenance projects at MB Miller Pier and surrounding facilities in Bay County. The ideal candidate will have experience with framing, structural repairs, and general carpentry work in outdoor environments.

Pay Range
$25.00 per hour
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of rough carpentry or construction experience preferred
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools
- Ability to read measurements, blueprints, and construction drawings
- Experience working in outdoor and marine/coastal environments is a plus
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rough carpentry work including framing, structural repairs, decking, and installation of wood or composite materials
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project specifications and blueprints
- Repair and maintain pier structures, walkways, railings, and support systems
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and project requirements
- Inspect completed work for quality and structural integrity
- Work alongside maintenance crews, laborers, and supervisors on assigned projects
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
