Job Summary
QLM is seeking an experienced Drywaller / Skilled Laborer for commercial construction projects. This role combines drywall installation and finishing with general carpentry tasks. Ideal candidates will be dependable, safety-conscious, and skilled in both drywall and light framing work.

Pay Range
$22- $32 per hour
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with drywall installation and finishing on commercial job sites.
- Working knowledge of basic carpentry tasks such as layout, framing, and hardware installation.
- Proficient with tools including screw guns, saws, levels, and taping tools.
- Ability to take direction and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, and working on scaffolding.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
Work Environment:
- Commercial construction job sites only.
- Exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions.
- Requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout the workday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install drywall sheets on commercial walls and ceilings using screws, nails, or adhesives.
- Tape, mud, and finish drywall seams and corners to a smooth or specified texture.
- Sand and prep surfaces for painting or final finishes.
- Perform drywall patching and repairs on active job sites.
- Assist with commercial framing, blocking, and backing as needed.
- Read and follow commercial construction plans and blueprints.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Follow all job site safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
