Pay Range
$28-$35 per hour
Responsibilities of a Journeyman Electrician:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, fixtures, and devices.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Mentor and supervise apprentice electricians.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications of a Journeyman Electrician:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a journeyman electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
