Pay Range
$22 – $28 per hour
Qualifications
- Proven carpentry experience (safety or construction carpentry preferred).
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and jobsite safety requirements.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and site instructions.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have PPE and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Install and maintain temporary safety structures (guardrails, barricades, handrails, covers for floor/wall openings).
- Build and repair scaffolding, platforms, and walkways in compliance with safety standards.
- Construct forms, braces, and supports for hazardous areas or access points.
- Inspect, reinforce, and adjust safety carpentry installations throughout the project.
- Work with the Safety Department and Superintendent to ensure safe site access and protection systems.
- Erect signage supports, protective enclosures, and barriers as needed.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
